Howlands art exhibition members and volunteers take an important role at Howlands. Here is member Nigel Parkinson (left) and volunteer Tom Ellis helping to install the Howlands Art Exhibition in Dewsbury Town Hall.

The exhibition  celebrates the successes of vulnerable adults  from all areas of  North Kirklees who due to physical or mental disabilities have become marginalised and isolated members of our community.

Through Howlands they have found friendship and support, developing skills and the confidence to find their own abilities for creativity. The results can be seen in the work on display and are well worth a visit.
