Here at Howlands we welcome 28 students from Leeds Becket University who are currently studying on a
Speech and Language Therapy Course.

Thankfully all 28 don’t attend in one group visit! Rather the students attend in pairs on a daily rotation to work with us and our service users to gain valuable experience of working in different environments.

We are all delighted to have them here, especially our members who enjoy the social interaction as well as being able to help other individuals with their developments goals. Everyone is winning and we’re all very much enjoying the experience – they are a credit to the University.
